Painting Class at UICA Date Change
My intermediate painting class at UICA has been moved back one week. It will begin Wednesday, February 22 at 7PM and meet at my studio in the Tanglefoot building.
Interpreting the Still Life
February 22 - May 3 (No Class on April 5)
Wednesdays, 7-9 PM
UICA Members: $180 + supplies
Non Members: $200 + supplies
Instructor: Michael Pfleghaar
This 10-week class is for intermediate level painters in oil or acrylic paint on canvas, paper, or board. The class will gather and arrange household items as well as clothed models into a still life setting to paint from. The focus will be to interpret the still life and nurture the artists' own unique vision instead of painting only what one sees. Preliminary drawings as well as finished works will be critiqued by the class members each week. A supply list will be available prior to the class.
