Ian Week 2
Ian, my very talented mentor student for the Artworks at UICA, Art Around Town project starts his 3' x 3' oil on canvas.
Pastel sketch for large oil painting.
Ian learned how to stretch his own canvas and applies gesso to prime the canvas.
The second painting Ian will be working on is an acrylic on paper with pen. This shows the first stage of that painting, a self portrait.
