American Craft Magazine
Well, yesterday I was excited to hear my work was pictured in the latest American Craft Magazine, which would be my first mention in a national art magazine. The excitement died down after realizing that my name was listed as "Michelle Pfleghaar" not Michael Pfleghaar. Above is the piece that was featured, "The Snake and the Cake" terra cotta, 2007, part of the 30 Cakes exhibit at UICA until this fall. I am used to my last name being misspelled but usually not the first. Oh well what can you do.
